Very remiscient of Snail House because of the sound design and arrangement, great stuff
:> Thank you, i really love snail's house :D
I really enjoy the unique approach you took with this - while it is mainly classified as liquid dnb, the sound design just screams jungle-inspired breakcore that focuses more on atmosphere, and I'm such a huge sucker for stuff like this.
While I do think that the breakdown between "drops" is a bit too long, I really like how different the drops are purely because of one element that changes the whole vibe, which is a very nice touch imo
The 90's had it all, I'm telling you. Like I wrote in prior comments, check Shifty or Goldie—that was avantgarde back then, and to me, it still sounds fresh. Appreciate your thoughts, cheers 🙏
not neurofunk but I brought this upon myself didn't I lmao
still, pretty good dnb, good job
Oh well, Dryest told me it was Neurofunk. Or at least it was until I did the rest of the song xD
To be fair, you also didn't make the kind of melodic House I wanted >:)
jesus christ the djent chugs
very solid arrangement wise (especially those tasty phrygian-ish licks here and there), but yeah, the mix is REALLY rough
really interested to see how the vocals are going to fit in the finished version, looking forward to it
Who doesn't love a good chug here and there haha. The turd mix will be more polished for sure. Glad you dug it, thanks for listening bro!
heavy Guilty Gear vibes, really missing those cheesy engrish vocals from the man, the legend, Daisuke himself
Engrish hahaha. Yeah at the time they were saying they wanted something a long those lines. Glad you dug it!
pretty cool, the bass could be way louder though
Thanks, yeah maybe I agree.
god that mix is cleeaaaaan
Thanks! I've been working really hard on it!
great rhythm and percussion, but where is the low end tho
Just gave this a listen in my car and ya'll are right. It's very high end sensitive. My recommendation would be to listen to this track on a Fender Audio Passport or some Sennheiser HD 650's. I got plenty of low end spectrum on quality speakers xD
It's a mastering problem.
